I was just wondering what you think of the personal ads and if anyone has done them before....like the ones through the internet...i know yahoo has some personal ads....they advertise them all the time...anyways, i was just wondering....

They always seem a bit dodgy and sleazy to me (well the ones that I’ve seen anyway!!).

I saw one in the newspaper (boring math class), the poor sucker must have made a typo, as it went something like "Big spender. 30, mature, attractive, and just won $1 in the lottery and is looking for a attractive, personable woman to spend it all on" :D:D

Or four packs of gum! :lol2:

My friend picks up the Philipino free paper sometimes to read the personals. They're all for women who want to get married... to rich old guys. :uhoh: LOL!

A lot of people use them - either online or in newspapers. I know I have no need for them, but they must work if people keep popping their name out on them.

I used to work with a pretty cool lesbian lady that lived in San Francisco. She commuted up here to Sacramento and she would bring in some periodicals once in a while. Boy were there some wierd ads in those things! We decided to put an ad in the freaky section. We were terrible, we had our ad saying stuff like
"Dirty boy looking for girl to get me squeeky clean. Must supply own rubber outfit. Water hose will be provided."
It was something like that. We didn't get any responses though. We were pretty heart broken :(

I visited www.findsomeone.co.nz once for a laugh. Most people on that seemed pretty normal. Except for the Latvian Divorcees who were after:

"Want big beatiful man with big car and big house" :p

That cracked me up...I showed everyone at work, we had a good laugh.
