I am needing help on any way to fix my fan problem. I have dual electric cooling fans, they are running on jumper right now because of a problem. I would like any info needed on how to fix the fans so they run when the engine gets up to normal operating temp. The fans come on when ignition is turned on and car is running. help would be gladly needed.
thanks chris.
thanks chris.

Pepboys sells a kit with a relay and a temperature controlled sensor that goes into the fins of your rad, it turns on the fan at the temp you select, between 160 or i think 220 . you can try that if you like. :iceslolan

I have an 84 trans am and my fuse went out that goes to my eletric fan so i would bet that u have a bad fuse...so i would advise you to check your fuses.

I've got a '92 formula and I'm having the same problem: regular (driver side) cooling fan on all the
time.
I checked the relays and the trouble apparently
comes from the ECU. The green/white cable from
the ECU is grounded all the time therefore energizing
the relay as soon as the engine is running.
However, it sounds weird that the ECU would be
defective since the car runs good in other aspects.
It could be the temperature sensor fooling the ECU
into thinking the car is hot, so I'll check the sensor
before trying a new ECU... (#1227730 BTW)
Let me know if this helps or if you troubleshoot it
before I do!
