CD player change

I own a 2000 Pontiac Firebird. The factory CD player stinks. The volume knob will not turn down the volume. Today I bought a new Pioneer CD player to replace the original. My question is, how do I take the dash apart to remove the old and install the new CD player? Is it a big job? I don't want to have to pay some high price to get it installed by a pro. I have installed CD players in other cars before so I'm sure if someone could tell me where to start I could do the rest. Thanks!
