broke hoe!

I'm so fucking tired of being broke. Being an artist (sammich artist) pays nothing, and I get little hours anyway.

I need a new engine for my car, and maybe better yet, a new car. I need boost. I need a laptop for school. I need many things. I have many needs.

Anyone got any bright ideas about how to make a quick 5 grand? Don't say stupid shit like prostitution.. it wont help the problem.

I know there are other broke people on this site that could value a good semi-honest way of making some quick cash.

I don't know if any of you are familiar with washington's failing job market or not. Since thousands of Boeing employees have been laid off, among other things, there really is nothing, even low end jobs.

I have to leave for college in a month and a half which doesn't put me in the best situation for a GOOD job.

Unless you can find a second job, let us know what special talents you have that you could use to earn that money or win the lottery, you'll just have to be patient or ask a relative to loan you some $$$.

Web design. Almost anything mechanical... if I don't know it, I can learn it. I have a full shop at my disposal. I have a driver's liscense. Really good at most video games.

Start your very own web business where you let people sell anything they want, where you get some money is when they have to use a credit card to register. You could call it D-Bay or something catchy like that......:tongue: 5K fast.....good luck with that :bigthumb:

I don't know what the situation is like over in Seattle, but here near Wenatchee, GOOD LUCK finding a sharp tech that can actually troubleshoot your car!

If you are at all familiar with Powertrain Control Systems, you can make a quite a bit of money simply doing basic troubleshooting. Just tell 'em what the problem is, and what needs to be changed.

I'm doing this sort of thing on the side, with only word-of-mouth "advertising". I have to refuse some jobs because I don't have the time. The word got out through family, friends, neighbors, and so forth.

Fixing driveability problems quickly can sure raise that kind of cash reasonably quick. They usually get their money back in better gas mileage. I've received no complaints.

I was ULTRA broke a couple years ago PLUS a fat credit card debt, so I took a quarter off and worked three jobs.

if you're still in school, the best way to get some quick cash is STUDENT LOANS!!! hehe, you mentioned something about laptop, schools have computer loans (recognizing that everyone needs one to function in schoo) and usually goes for about $2k.

otherwise, go be a private tutor if you got some brains. You can easily make money without having to work a lot of hours.

if you lack the brains, but have lots of patience, couple of my friends are helping take care of autistic children at private homes. LOTS of money involved there, and hours are usually very flexible. (be prepared to get bitten though)

OR, (this is borderling legal) I used to write papers for other college students at other schools for a handsome fee. You'd be surprise what a dumb-fock will pay for a 5 page term paper to pass the class...and you can just take assignments in areas that you're familiar with...
