ok, first off i screwed up.... i took a turn too fast the other day, while in a storm, my front left tire blew up and i lost control of the car, i jumped a curve and hit a stop sing. i know i suck, but i honestly tried everything to avoid this accident. i have minor damage to the bumper (needs a spray) but what i am worried about is other things...can this have broken the new clutch i had installed a week ago? cause now when the car decelarates in gear it makes a noise, like a sort of spinning sound...this sound is present in all manual cars but it seems a bit louder now...could i have also screwed up my allignment? or worse? if anyone can tell me anything it would help...i will bring it in to check it out but i at least want an idea of what im up againts...
Thanx guys

it's cool. As long as you are okay, that is the important thing.

Does it feel like the clutch is slipping at all? heres a test. Start the car. Put it in first gear with the clutch pedal all the way down to the floor. With your foot on the brake, slowly let the clutch up. If the car continues to run without stalling, then the clutch is bad. did you check under the car, maybe some plastic skirting or something came loose and is rubbing on a CV joint, or on a tire.

really though, it could be a hundred things. The only real way to tell, is to take it in. As soon as possible. It coud be the throw-out bearing in the clutch or something.
