Mechanical Problems

My mom's 2001 Pathfinder has some problems with the front right tire. Whenever we apply the brakes at low speeds we hear a clicking noise on the right side of the undercarriage. We've taken it to numerous shops and they don't seem to know how to fix the problem or even figure out what it is. Also, while crusing at high speeds (70-90) the steering wheel shakes and when we apply the brakes the car shakes. Please help me out here before my mom pisses away more and more money by taking the car to more garages that specialize in domestic cars. Thanks

Have you had the allignment checked ? or the brakes if they are warped? You could also check the wheel nuts.
Good luck and be careful.

yeah i had the alignment checked several times and that wasn't it. It could be the brake rotor cause it only happens when i apply the brakes. Thanks

Just found out that after 21000 miles on my new 2002 Pathfinder, the brake rotors will have to be replaced (or at least turned). I drive the thing VERY easy and it troubles me that these are a problem.
It's probably your mom's problem too.
