car wont start

i went to go to work tonite,i got in my car and went to crank it, it acted like it wanted to crank but didnt, so i turned the key off and went to crank it again......and nothing. it didnt click or act like it wanted to crank or anything. my lights and radio still came on, but it wont do anything :( does anyone know what is wrong?


ps-i have cranked it a cple times before, and right
after i cranked it, it would idle good for like a second
then the rpms would drop to 0, and it would shut
off.

Can you hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn it to the on position?

when i try to crank it, u hear a click noise.....

if it was ur feul pump it would still crank, if it was ur main relay it would still crank. are you saying that its not doing anything at all or its just not firing? If its not doing anything at all it could be your battery or your starter.

odds are that im wrong... but it sounds like a loose ground maybe???.. hmmm i duno why but thats first thing that comes to mind for me.. :confused:

my car does the same thing once in a while. just check for corosion first and then maybe if u want to check the water amount in the battery, and then maybe it could b a loose wire or the starter is going.
