I did a 1995 Del Sol swap into my 90 hatch si. Its the D16ZC basicly the JDM D16Z6. When i start it after its sat for more then a hour or so it idles at 1800 RPM for about 4 minutes. Is there anyway to correct this problem?

what does it idle to after the 4-5 minutes....cause all motors idle higher when they are cold......then once the oil pressure has been built up and they have warmed up they drop. All my cars usually are about 1100 rpm or so.....then drop to like 500-600 rpm......once the pressure has been built up....
what Im saying is that if you idle is set to high when the engine is warm (Meaning like 1200 rpm, or so) then of course its going to idle even higher when the engine is cold.:spit:

Don't mess with your idle screw!!! Replace the fast idle valve and check all hosing to and from it. :)
Nice nick "JDM90SiR". Want to prove that it really is?????? :biggrin2: :icon16:
