most people will say that stock struts are the best.. but they will give you major control issues.. the car will bounce all over the place... i would at least get tokico HP's... and make shur you check on the spring rate before you buy... some are like 450 front/350 rear.. thats way too hard unless you get KONI YELLOWS or Tokico Ilumina's... any more q's, e mail me for an imediate response

anyone who says that is an idiot. Stock struts are only cool if you do a minimal drop like the eibach pro kit ... anything else you better get something else or else its usually gonna be bouncier than a motherfucker, and have mad camber.

WTF man... just the other day you was bitching up and down how bad hps were with any drop... and no one ever said they were the best... far from it... i simply said they get the job done... granted a much stiffer shock would be ideal with a drop... its just about the green...

so basically to answer your question... if you can afford it koni adjustables (yellows) or the iluminas are the way to go, but if you can't atleast try to get some Tokico hp's, i do agree with him on that aspect

btw here is the thread where he was ranting... http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t123960.html

I dont know who you have been talking to. Thats some bullshit. Stock shocks/springs will give you the smoothest ride . . . Dont use stock shocks with lowering springs or "coilovers."

i say dont lower it with just springs/coilovers unless its a minimal drop like the eibach prokit.

If you can afford EVERYTHING. (shocks, springs, camber kit) then do it ... people laugh at me cause my car is still stock height, i laugh at them because their shits bouncier than a motherfucker, and their wheels have so much camber part of it dont touch the ground. :thefinger

I have coil overs on my car and my stock struts are completley shot to shit not to mention the bouncy ride. Save your cash and buy lowering springs.

Good idea. Suspension is not something you want to be cheap with. Intakes is a different story. You'll be much happier with suspension done right. Check out the H&R cup kit - matched springs/shocks for about $600.
