I was looking though some superchagers and came across a procharger from RPMoutlet. I dont really know how credible they are but on one of their charts, you can get 1000hp out of a 3 core intercooler?! heres the link:

can anyone verify this, or is it just a typo?

Not a typo. The SHEEMETAL 3-core is efficient to about 1000 horsepower.

This does NOT mean it gives you 1000hp. It means the intercooler itself can handle 1000hp before blowing to pieces (metaphorically). Just like X Transmission can handles X amount of horsepower before you start frying it.
An 11psi (pushing it) blower from ati will boost the 6 around 85% to a total of 345bhp. But in order to run ti at this level you must change a lot of stock components so that they, and the supercharger, can work together efficiently.

thanks for the feedback, tho i was hoping it would give me 1000hp :frown: o well. If i were to get one, is thre any other modifications i need to do to the engine to make it more compatible and safe?

The intercooler will not blow up or stop working or fall out of your car, it just isn't nearly as efficient at cooling air and starts to become a fairly major restriction in flow once you get above 1000 horsepower.
To get your V6 ready for a blower you could do forged internals, maybe a 4.2 block, ported heads and intake, etc, but you probably just want to buy the blower, bolt it on, get a good tune, and be happy with it.
