Help with Drag downpipe

I have a custom kit that is almost complete, for a 96 Accord. It has a Drag header, and I just received the Drag downpipe for it. The problem is that the downpipe doesn't have a flange that connects to the catalytic converter. Just a straight pipe at the end. It's the right downpipe, since everyone I've seen in pictures of full kits looks just like it, and none of those have flanges either. So I was wondering if anyone here knew how to bolt this thing onto the cat. If you have any detailed instructions for the whole DRAG system (even though I only have 2 parts of it), that'd be cool as well. Thanks for any help.

you're gonna have to weld a flange on to it... sorry that's the only way, at least the only proper way.

Correct me if I'm wrong but its a drag pipe your not supposed to be running a cat with it thats all of it right there man. Or is it the brand called Drag?

It's the brand called Drag. And they claim it's a bolt-on kit with no modifications required. I can't imagine they'd have me weld something on. The reason I got this was so I wouldnt have to have a custom weld job done...damn.

Down pipes tend to eliminate catalitic converters, thats the only way you can gain a lot of hp. Is the turbo advertised as "Off Road Use Only"?

Downpipes dont eliminate cats. All cars have them. Maybe some turbo downpipes do, but I know this one won't, it's not big enough. DRAG's turbos are offroad use only, but i think that's only because it supplies an external wastegate without a dump tube...not sure why else it would be offroad.
Still, this is not the point. I'm just curious if anyone here has ever ordered a DRAG kit and needed to modify the downpipe to fit up with the cat. Even if it doesn't bolt up to the cat, it still needs to bolt up to something. And what I have is just a straight tube at the end, no flange at all for bolting.

Heh heh, that's an oxymoron. They don't exactly work with customers. Drag doesn't have contact info, they only speak with people who sell their stuff. I already tried talking to the people who sold this to me, and they said they couldn't get a hold of Drag. Big surprise. I think I'm just going to look for some new flanges and have it welded. Thanks for the advice though.

Yes they do claim it's a bolt on kit... unfortunately it isn't... you keep your cat and you'll need to weld on a flange, or bring it to someone who can do it for ya.

That's pretty retarded. Fortunately, there's someone right down the road from me who does this kind of stuff, so I'll have to have him look at it. Maybe he has flanges...or I'll just have him weld directly to the cat. Anyway, thanks for responding.
