I have a 91 civic dx hatchback now but thinking about selling it to get a 93 accord ex coupe, or engine swap... Just wanted to get some ideas...
Which one is a better long term investment...
Like in daily driving, occasional street/track warrior, and still be smog legal...
H22a into the 93 Accord Coupe
or
F20b into the 93 Accord Coupe
or
B16a / B18c into the 91 Civic Hatchback
or
H22a into the 91 Civic hatchback

Well the H22 and F20 motors dont have a big aftermarket of parts. Your hatch is much lighter than an accord which is a plus. I would go with a b16 or b18 larger aftermarket in parts in case something breaks or for ease of install which is easier than a H swap. Go with what you got and put a B series in it.

Well I would say go for the b-16/b-18 swap..I think if ure going for a longer lasting engine that those will suit u better. I have a b-18 myself and it's a great engine! Although the H22 is bigger...I'd still go for the b series.

Keep the civic & do an engine swap w/ b18. The hatches are still whoopin ass @ road courses & autocross.
