a/c conversion done, have questions

I got the conversion kit from walmart that says its to convert r-12 system to r-134.
It went in easy, everything works, and the air is really cool.
It seemed a little easier to do from what I have heard from other people so im a little worried.
But my real question is...
I can hear an air leaking sound from around the compressor area when I turn the car off.
I checked the pressure after about 15 minutes and It was still the same.
Is this a leak?
Is this something I did wrong or do I need a new compressor, hoses.....?

That system is under such high pressure that any leak would lose the refrigerant rather quickly. Sounds like it's workin' fine.

After 2 years without it, its good to have a/c again.

Hmmmm...did u evacuate the old R-12 completely out of the system? The two oils in r-12 and r-134a are NOT compatible and would probably ruin something in the system pretty quickly...

Another thing I have heard is that R-12 Dryers on not compatible with R-134a either....and that part should be replaced when you do the conversion. I would hope that a newer dryer from a newer Civic in a junkyard running r134a would satisfy this

Well I found out where my leak is.
Its on the very right edge halfway up the condenser when you are looking at it.
This is why it crapped out in the first place i guess.
I just replaced my radiator and it looks like it would have been easier if i knew about it then and done them both.
