which company makes the best looking, detailed civic (ek-9-hatchback):
Fujimi or revell?

Fujimi has tons of civics to choose from, but the revell looks good too, but i don't know which one is better.

thanks

None of Fujimi Civics are detailed, so if you want the engine detail, optional aero parts and wheels, you have no choice but buy the Revell one.

If you are concerned about the scale, it can be either Fujimi (1/24) or Revell (1/25).

If you are particular about certain model year, Fujimi has more model years to choose from.

Fit and finish of Fujimi varies, some are good, some are bad, and you'd better ask AF member about a specific kit before you buy.

The Fujimi Civics have much better bodies. The rest of it is pretty much up in the air as far as which is better. The Revell kits have engine detail, which makes them better in my book, even though I have to fight their fit and finish. If I were to do a hatch, I would consider putting the Revell motor in the Fujimi body.

The Fujimi kits-- all of them-- are based ont he '96 to '98 Civics, the ones that are supposed to be 90+ Civics just have a different bumper. The headlights and the hood are the same between the models, even though they are different 1:1. I would say get a Revell kit for a 99+ but they did the same thing as Fujimi, at least on the coupe.

Yes, for 99-00 I'd get the Revell kit, but for 96-98 I'd get the fujimi.
