in october im gonna have enough money to buy some new speakers, and for now, i think i know which 6x9's im gonna get, but im unsure on the 6 1/2's i can get coaxial or component, so here they are:

these are the components ($117)

and will these fit without to much work? ($97)

6x9's ($117)

i tested all of them out and for me they sound good, and don't get all distorted when bass comes out, so if anyone has any input, positive or negative on these speakers, please speak up! thanks in advance

Personaly I'm a firm supportor of Alpine/Infinity speakers, I replaced my bose with Infinity, they're awesome, very crisp, clear, and for 6x9's they bump.

I do a lot with car stereos and i find that usually with interior speakers most cheaper models of good brands sound almost as good as the high end speakers unless your an audio freak. The companies are separated into tiers with the 1st tier being brands like Focal, JL, Kenwood Excelon, Rockford Power series. 2nd tier is more like Kenwood, Rockford Punch, Sony. If you want inexpensive components that will sound unbelievable, get MB quart discus line 6 1/2's. You have to get an amp though, a head unit just isnt going to cut it. It will sound ok but a 4 channel amp will really blow your mind, probably need about 50-80 watts RMS X4.

You can probably find the MB quarts for around $150 a pair.

mb quarts sound like a good idea, but if i decide to get those, i might hold off on the 6x9's, is there anyway to take out the vocals, and higher toned sounds on just the rear speakers? and i've seen alotta people place there tweeters above the door panel, is this an easy install, or am i going to need it professionally done?
