this is weird...

I gots a 95 grand am 4cyl. 3sp. automatic w/ overdrive. I just bought it last friday. I've noticed that when the car is put into reverse, the torque on the transaxle makes the engine tilt violently to the front of the car. Is it just me or is this a bad thing? I don't know as I've never owned a front wheel drive vehicle before.

Check the motor mounts....sounds like one or all are bad.
