focus rs

i just today saw a focus rs with manufacturer plates in michigan today so incase anyone wabts to have one in america i think they may be bringin them but ya never know, i live in michigan so i see all sorts of unusual cars and no, i am sure it was an Rs i was right behind it and then i passed it to get a look at the front and it said RS in big letters so im not mistaken

i think its a one off, a bunch of people have spotted it. Were not getting it, but hopefully another turbo maybe awd based on the new 2.3 engine will be in the works....(i hope i hope i hope)

I see a lot of Integra's with Type R on them here in PA, are they Type R's?

Yes

You can get an RS body kit for a ZX3 and you can buy the badges and decals, the guy was probably not interested because it wasn't an RS.

BTW, my Dad actually drove a Focus RS at the Ford test track in South Africa last week, he says the acceleration is scary and the handling supurb :smile: (if I was over there I would have been able to drive it too - we're friends with the plant manager of Ford Engine Plant in Port Elizabeth).

this had manufacturer plates on it AND it wan't just a body kit it had the auburn colored turn signals

It could be a one off dealer import, but like Z33 said, we ain't getting them in America.

Here's another tell-tale whether it's for real, did it have the European style projector headlamps?

This is about the 10th sighting i have read about from the michigan area, and i think someone proved it to be true.

dunno bout headlights but it had those taillights AND i forgot to mention it had the wheels as well, and MANUFACTURER PLATES AHH I SAID IT A MILLION TIMES NOW!*whew*:iceslolan

I apologise for doubting you, since it would seem everything indicates you are indeed dead on in saying this RS is there....now lets go hunt this one down:devil:

BTW, you can buy RS tail lights on the after-market :wink:

actuyally i did have my camera in the back seat but i was on the freeway so it was hard to get to it but ill try harder next time:bigthumb:
