My boyfriend's 1990 240 has HICAS (4-wheel steering, in case you're not familiar with the term), which causes some interesting drifting difficulties in that the rear wheels shift 2-degrees. I was wondering if any of you knew how to disengage it without doing anything drastic. We are hoping maybe it is engaged by a fuse that we could remove, or maybe just simply cut a wire somewhere.
If it is not that easy, we are figuring we just have to make the rear-end immobile somehow. Either way, any tips or suggestions would be great.
Thanks

you can buy a bar for around $100 that cancelles it out
http://www.phase2motortrend.com/tomhicelkit.html - Tomei kit ($145)
http://www.i-m-racing.com/stilhicel30t.html - Stillen for 300zx (it might match up, I know that other suspension pieces match so mabye?) $229
ill post more sites as I find them, I know that I just saw one the other day for $100. lemme think for a few and i'll get back to you.
