What do you guys think of the uhhh....CORMARO...
Just a photoshop someone over on cz28.com did a while back for a kit/conversion we're trying to get cast by Wings West or a less-known private company/person that shortens the rear of the Camaro and fashions it after that of a C5. We already have a C5 taillight conversion kit ready to go(thanks WHISTLER!!), but this full channgeover is a much bigger project.
Constructive criticism?? Opinions??

I like it. That's probably not really what you wanted to hear but it looks great, the back looks a lot neater and much more like a car I'd drive. Is there any chance we could see the same view of the regular car? Ph yeah, do Corvette wheels fit on the Camaro?

And yes, the Pre-Y2k C5 rims can be spaced and offset to fit a Camaro correctly, I believe. But in that picture, I'm pretty sure that it started out as a Vette and the Camaro body was PSd onto those wheels.

nope..the wheels are the PSed part....car is real. Check the reflection on the door of the car, also note the lack of brakes behind the wheels.

Yea, you're definately right now that I look at it. I stand corrected then:bigthumb:

The Cormaro was just a prototype. It was used during the development stages of the LS1. In order to keep what GM was doing hidden from the public and avoid attention, they took 1995 Camaro bodys and stuffed their concept LS1 engines into them with the technology intended to be later used in the new Corvette.
Imagine that, the CAMARO was the first chassis to be driven on the STREET with an LS1.
By the way, the new Camaro is nice, it took me a very long time to admit that though, and I was recently told by a dealer that come 2012 the t-top option will once again be available!!!

They are pretty nice, one of my neighbors has one. Don't remember if it's an SS or Z28 or whatever, but it does have the 6.2 motor. Goes well, he took me for a ride in it last summer. Thumbs up for sure.
