Veilside R33 Finally completed !!!!!

After what seems like a lifetime, I've finally completed the Veilside R33.
This is a nightmare of a kit with large amounts of filler and adjustments needed to complete. Saying that, I'm quite pleased with the outcome.
Specifics are:
Painted Audi Laser red with White decal stripes,
SAS NISMO R34 Bonnet (hood) modified and fitted,
SAS Drilled Brake Disk set,
Wing Mirrors are from the NISMO CLARION racing R33,
MRM 4 point harness fitted on racing seats,
Intercooler from spares box,
Fujimi AVS alloy wheels,
Tail pipe from aluminium tube cut at 45 degrees
and finally SAKATSU bonnets pins.
Your comments please (good or bad).

Lost for words.....
:eek2:
Amazing job!
Did you use Halfords Audi laser red automotive spray cans for that, or did you air brush?
I've used the halford cans a lot in the past and found the finishes to be a bit of a lottery..
Love the grill meshes did you make them yourself?
:eek2:

Yes, it was good old Halfords laser red straight from the can.
Grill mesh is from the kit and it's some of the best I've ever used.

Personally I dont really care for the kit itself. Im not the biggest fan of Veilside body kits, but the model looks great. You really did a wonderfull job on it. The stripes look fantastic.

The changed wheels and red color really help set off the car and make the Veilside parts look less convoluted. Plus the extra detail in the brakes, interior, and bodywork really make it more than just another pretty face. I like this R33 a lot. You get my highest award.

From the back of the car the left stripe looks a little skinny compared to the other one. You could probably finished this. Or, if you're not sure if you could, leave it alone. I'm too scared to even try doing stripes on my models. It still looks really good!
