i own a 1992 nonturbo Eagle Talon 2.0 Automatic, i have just recently bought a 1993 eclipse turbo manifold and turbo, plus the essentails, like piping and a oil pan, but my biggest question is, will i need to get bigger injectors, a EFU, and a different Tq. converter, any help will be benificial, thank you

usually cars that come stock with turbo charged motors are much more easy to up grade. but with enough time and money realy any thing is possible.but first of all, what engine is in your car? if its the dohc 2 liter your straight. if the talon is the same is the eclipse, then there was a sohc model. i think there would be lot more work involved. other wise i would get the same everything(fuel injectors, or any thing else engine related) a turbo talon has. i hope that helps you out at all. and one more thing, turbo's love straight though exhaust(no cat) and the the bigger the diameter the better. i dont know about the tq. converter though??
did they make an auto. turbo talon?

the motor is a 420a not the 4g63 the 420a is a dodge motor. you can turbo it but to make it run efficently you need to do the fuel sys and get a downpipe and exhaust.. i personally think is would be cheaper to see the talon and look for a turbo tsi, or gsx.. the non-turbo talon motor can only take 8-10psi on stock internals.. the tsi\gsx\gst cna take 22psi stock..
btw if you wanted better help on this youo should of posted it in the eclipse or talon section...
good luck

The engine in your talon was not built for a turbo. The TSI's engine has much stronger internals, and much lower compression. It would not be worth the time and headaches to do this to your car. Plus you would probably blow it up anyway.

Also, why is this in the Honda/Acura section?

Because we don't have anywhere else to talk about forced induction, yet.
I would also say that you should do an engine swap. An Eagle Talon TSi, Plymouth Laser ES, or a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T would all make a great doner car. They are all the same under the hood. It is better to start with an engine built for a turbo from the factory unless you plan to replace all the internals anyhow.
