Flip-Flop-Doors

Gears are kickin in my head and if this can be done or not? Yea yea yea, with the right money and time it can be done. Now for those that dont know what I mean this would involve making a hinge system for the back doors of my 4dr so that they would open the opposite way..like this...

Yeah that is called suicide doors like the old 69 lincoln continentals have. That would look sweet. I saw a civic one time (2 door) that had the doors opening the opposite way...you would just have double the work with your 4 door.... :biggrin: go for it!

i think he doesn't want all 4 doors suicide...just the back 2....so the front opens regular and the back opens suicide...go for it man...

now me an my friend need to figure out the mechanics of the door, and the hinge, plus for the power windows just run longer wire..this might take awhile, but yea i mean to make the back doors suicide, and leave the front ones normal. This vision in my head is soo nice!

i thought that those kits only worked for coupe cars and only with the front 2 doors...not the back doors....

just turn the kits around and they will work for the back, ive seen it done.
