What would you do??

My car is a lease.... through one of those companies that deals with people with no so great credit.... and I so badly want to work on it, and make it faster than it already is, which is pretty fast. My contract does not allow me to do any performance mods to the car, or they can cancel my contract, and take back the car. I want to know, if I can replace the exhaust with 2.5 pipe, and replace the cats, but the make it go back to the stock mufflers.... would this be a dumb thing to do, restrict it back down, or not even worth because there wouldnt be any hp gains, just more back pressure made. is there any high flow mufflers out there, that I could put 2.5 pipe on, and the mufflers, that would be quiet, and not give away the fact that the exhaust system has been changed?

I have had the car over a year now, and the only time I take it to the lot, is once a month to pay my car pament, so its not like I get my maintenance done there. the modify bug is really eating at me :)


I can change the looks, and stereo, even the handling, just no performance mods.......


what about a UDP??

hell...... by there wording, I can't even put in a K&N filter.

Sorry, but it sounds like your stuck. You wouldn't be able to make a noticeable difference with the exhaust your describing. I think you will just have to wait it out. In the mean time, make it killer handler since your allowed to do that.

save ur money and just enjoy the car the way it is. u are very limited on what u can/want to do with the car, sorry.
