does anyone know of any quick mods that you can do to a 96 maxima to pick up a few more horse? ex. in the vw's you can modify the air intake box that houses the filter and it will make it sound deeper, while adding more horse. if you know anythign like that let me know

Sure, you can add an intake for around $150-200 from JWT or a Stillen. You can also add a Y-pipe for $250-400 and that will give you another 15 Hp or so, add an exhaust for $350-400 and your done... :D

If you don't want a pop intake. you can just buy a K&N drop in filter. You can also get an Under drive crank pully from stillen for a little under 100 bucks.
