Hi,

I tried starting my car today for the fisrst time in about a month.
The engine was turning but the fuel rail was shooting fuel all over.
The fuel line wasnt inserting fuel into the rail and i guess thats why the car wouldnt start.
I tried tightening it and it still shot fuel out.
I did go from D15 to D16 engine though?
Are they compatible?
Please help, need help ASAP.

Thanks,
Owen

is that some thing that will require an bajo washer, or perhaps some sealant on the threads? like how is it squirting out...

Just tried starting it again and i did quick little turns and it didnt leak.
I then turned it for about 5 seconds and fuel shot everywhere!
That has to be the reason the car is not starting correct?
There is no fuel to the injectors?
I think there was a small tiny washer that used to be there and it isnt there anymore, maybe it fell out.
THanks

I know my DX fuel hose wasn't the same as my Si one I use on my ZC. The way it attaches is similar but not the same.

That may be the reason.
because even if I put it on there real tight it still shoots fuel all over.
Umm you are talkin about the fuel line that goes to the fuel rail correct?
The ring type connector?
Would I have to go to a scrapyard or Autozone to get one?
Thanks

Yes the line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail.

The banjo washer is that small washer where u screw in the fuel rail correct?
If I didnt have that in there would it be enough to leak and shoot fuel all over?
I guess i can get one at Autozone right?
Thanks
I wish I could get this car running. '
