How do you get off the stock shift knob. I want to install a new one. the directions on the box says that most stock shifters unscrew. Any suggestions?

Assuming you mean manual, it should just screw off.

i do manual but its eiher really tightly on there or its glued. my honda crx stick was glued on not screwed.
