I just finish installing it, and all can say is the it is so cool it is the best bang for you buck mod. instead of shifting a mile it is an inch it is great. To anyone thing of getting one, They should for sure.

I wouldnt call it the best bang for the bucks mod but it is nice. Im glad I got mine:bigthumb:

where did u pick yours up @? i got mine off eBay...it's a no-name brand, but it beats the stock shifter...it took me like 3 days to get used to shifting because it's a world of difference from stock shifting...:bigthumb:

i fitted mine on friday..., i noticed a big difference! looks good too, nice n chrome :bigthumb:

yea I got a APC short shifter off of Autodynamic.com
Cost me about 60 bucks including shipping.
Definetly not the best bang for the buck but is a great improvement.
Now when you drive other cars without short shifters it feels so different.
I dont know if they really improve your time but it sure does feel like you have more control.

it's pretty much explains itself...short shifter = shorter shift, theres only about a half an inch difference in the shift linkage difference, but it feels like a mile...and the shifter sits lower in the car....

i think the stock throw on the civic is fine ... now the bmw bavaraia my dad bought is a different story ... if that thing had a short shifter it would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

my short throw is the same size as the origanal one but with maybe half the throw, oh and its for a 98 civic, but they are the same, its just a shorter throw than the crx one i had
