I'm still here...

I'm not stressed, not in the slightest...but this seems the best place to post right now. You see, I shouldn't be here right now. No, not at all. I should be sitting in a dirty Greyhound bus station, getting hit on by someone I'd care never to have contact with, waiting for a bus that would take me back home, an approximate one hour bus ride. So you ask...why are you at home posting on AF? I'm glad you asked, because if you hadn't, I still would have told you.
You see boys and girls, I have discovered that the one who knows his/her dates will go much farther in life than those who screw up their travel plans. Yes, I was supposed to board the train this morning at 1:55am, for a 13 hour train ride back up north. Well, as luck would have it, for a variety of reasons, and half-ass excuses, I scheduled my return ticket for tomorrow morning, rather than this morning. After realizing my mistake, I called Amtrak last night, inquiring to see if I could get on the train this morning. Well, the train was sold out, and it had been for two weeks. :bloated: Hmm...figures.
As a result, I have been able to enjoy one more day relaxing at home, playing with the dogs, getting woken up rather nicely, and enjoying a home-cooked meal. I have even enjoyed an extra day during which I could cram a bit more studying in. Well...my train is about 3 hours late at this moment. Which means that I won't arrive in Portland until about 6pm tomorrow evening, which means that I won't arrive in town until shortly after 7pm or so (mainly due to the lackadaisical driving attitudes of cab drivers), which will result in my missing an exam tomorrow evening, in addition to all of my classes, and work. I'm not stressed though. I may be wordy, but I'm not stressed. In fact, a guy here at home offered to take me out for a drink tonight, well, that was before I reminded him that 1) I don't want to and 2) I'm underage.
No, I am definately not stressed. This isn't exactly good, but it's not the end of the world either. It's an inconvenience. My friends will think that something terrible has happened to me when I don't show up tonight, or tomorrow at breakfast, lunch, dinner, or class. Well, at least I hope they would worry. ;) Hmm...maybe if I'm still here at 5:00am, I'll post just to post. My Lesson: Fly next time. :p

Well, aside from you missing class, and you being slightly 'stresses'. I am glad you will be leaving late. :D
