Rebuilding Questions

Having recently blown up my Honda engine and subsequently found myself a daily driver (93 240sx), i have decided to keep it stock and maintain reliability. I now find myself craving the acceleration and speed I once enjoyed from my "ricecar". I have always loved the design of Rotary engines but have been afraid to purchase one due the downtime associated with rebuilding. Now that I have an open area to do it, I want to build an Rx-7 track car. Ive done plenty of engine building with normal reciprocating assembly engines but I have never touched a rotary. I would appreciate it if anyone could recommend a specific book(s) on a full rebuild and also performance oriented materials (maybe a tri-rotor or something). Thanks for the info

To be completely honest go buy a haynes manual for a 2nd gen (86-91) RX-7,
or any actual Mazda shop manual from the same era...
that would prolly be the best starter info availible..

I hate haynes manuals. Shop Manual sounds like a good investment though. What about performance books, any recommendations?
