I rarely post on this forum as it seems to be populated by those with the IQ of a carrot - eg Omega - or full of flame wars for which I have contempt.

I just wanted to say what a nice guy Shin Inoue is. I have only spoken with him a few times in person, but have read all his posts on gtr and find him to be one of the nicest, most knowledgeable and self deprecating people I have met. I was at TOTB, by the start line and watched him get out the car, and have a bit of fun. I also watched him overcook his first run and spin out. But the guy has raced gtr's and knows em inside out. I feel there was no need to post any dreogatory comments about him at all. If you had his contacts you would use them, iof you knew what he knew your car would be as good. Thats the whole point, I mean the guy helped set up GTROC Japan, and the midnight club for crying out loud, how much more respect could he be worthy of ??

Just my view on what was said.

Again, my apologies if this is out of place (oh, and Omega, this is how you construct a post that can be read without use of a translator !! ;) )

Edited to add that his black 34 is possibly the one of the most completely tuned cars in the UK. Power, handling and reliability, all accesible all of the time. It just doesnt get any better, Keith Cowies car may have a lot of power, but wouldnt last 10laps against Shins car, and Im sure he would be the first to abmit it.

I know Shin has had some major influences on bring the GTR to super car status around the world. I also know from others that the man is a super nice guy, and extremely knowledgeable about Skylines. I should not have brought that incident up at all. My bad.
