I find out from my boss today, that our payday has changed from Every 2nd Monday, to Every Second Thursday. Normally this would not be a big problem, BUT it fucks me up for my car insurance payment. My insurance payment is due on monday, and I used to get paid on monday. I tried to explain to those cocks about my pay-days but they didnt give a fuck cause they still aint gettin there money till Thursday. There is no other way I can pay it, credit cards wont cover it (not enough of a balance left to cover it, was supposed to pay that off with left-over's from my pay-cheque, which I will now not get till Thurs). Its going to be a huge check cause I have tons of overtime on there, and I just got a raise, but still my parents wont let me borrow any cash and my friends are all being cocks. So now, I got to either drive my car without insurance to school and back until Thursday, [and with my luck, ill be busted for sure :( ] which my parents now know about, so they will start yelling if I drive it anyways. Or I have to take the bus / walk to school until payday.

Then those fuckers will probably sting me for some charge on Thursday saying that they have to write a new Insurance policy cause the old one was closed or some shit like that :mad:

Hummerman, there is a good reason why its a bad idea to have to live check to check. Thats not directed at you since (if I remember right) your still pretty young. The rest of us have to make sure some savings is tucked away so we aren't caught in a bind like that. Its the rare case that we cant tuck away a few bucks or more each check. Its just a matter of watching your spending habbits.

I work as an Access Network Designer at TelstraSaturn......we had a big meeting yesterday about redundancies....my boss is being made redundant, his boss is being made redundant..., and one other person from our team of 3 is being made redundant....and I've been here the least amount of time so Im guessing its going to be me.....

UPDATE: I was able to lay me hands on some money, and its all good. But as Yogs said, this is a lesson for me, from now on, I will try to put at least some money aside for an emergency.
