i have a 95 gsr teg w/ 160,000 miles with dc header revolution muffler and a cheap apc intake. what i was wondering is what it will take to make me a mid to low 14 second car its all stock other than whats listed i would like to go turbo or supercharged but too expensive maybe in the long run i know i want to refresh the motor cause of the miles change pistons but if i raise the compression i can't go supercharged can I, i dont want to go to high what a good comp. ratio for all motor and maybe supercharge??? i want to get a mugen brain port/polish and maybe some skunk 2 cams and a jg eldelbrock intake manifold some good plugs and wires msd ignition. stage 3 clutch and flywheel<<< if needed. and some stickies on my 15 rims with nothing in the trunk and full interior will that make me hit low 14s with that stuff i listed and also what am i missing or need to do to hit 14 so all you tegs out there that are 14's or faster help me out thanks........CON..

is that on slicks or street tires??? did you do anything to the lower part of the motor like pistons??? but also you probably dont have 160k miles which sucks!!! im gonna put some pistons in but dont know what kind i like je but maybe type r pistons are better??? what stage of camshaft do you have??? how much total do you have into the motor??? also what was your times??? high or low 14's i would love to go faster then 14's but dont want my goal to be too high so 14's seem fast!!! thanks for your help

supercharger is more for low revving, high torque cars like camaros. turbocharging is for high revving lower torque cars like integras. so... you should turbocharge if you are going between turbo and super. and as far as the pistons you're going to have to pick one. you dont want high compression pistons on a turbocharger. so if i were you i'd wait on the pistons until you have the turbo unless you want to go all motor then get some 11.0:1 pistons by JE or something...

i hit a 14.8 on stock tire pressure an my passenger seat in. take those out, i'd hit a 14.7 atleast.
really, i'd go w/ a test pipe, new cams, some nice tires an strip ur car an u'd be lookin at mid 14's rite there.

im thinking of just going supercharged cause turbo is way to expensive and needs alot of things with it. supercharge is better for day to day driving and with 6psi i can hit 13's stock with some slicks. but what all do i need before supercharging my motor with a jackson supercharger at 12psi pulleys. like lower compression pistons etc; remember that i have 160,000 miles or will that hold up stock??? thanks need much help......CON...

i hate doubting ppl, but thats saying it can run .7 lower stock jus cuz u stripped out the interior...how'd u lose the 700 lbs?

port and polish is some machining you do to the head to make things flow quicker smoother and better that will increase hp significantly

i have a integra gsr wit a jacksonracing supercharger, boost 1 upgrade... and im runnin a direct port 75 shot of nos. i took it to the track once and i ran a 12.293. but i only got to run it once b4 it started to rain...atleast i got my $$ back and got to see my time :)

A jrsc@6psi can still destroy your motor if not properly managed and not setting your timing to where it needs to be.
@12psi with the jrsc, you will need hondata, aem ems, or uberdata. i prefer the first two. @12psi, you will have a giant heat pump. go get some water injection to help (not totally neccessary though). or go with lht. @12psi with good tuning, you should be fine.
Anything above 12psi, is just too much heat, go get a turbocharger if you want to boost high.
here, overwhelm yourself with all the jrsc info you can find here. dont forget to use the search option. it is very user friendly.
