I may go for a little N20, but no turbo/superchargre due to the 11.5:1-12.0:1 compression ratio. Using endyn pistons that are good for about 10.6:1-11.2:1 I have 0.020 off the block, 0.010 off the head and 0.028 out of the head gasket, along with a slightly altered R/S ratio... Rods are about 0.080 longer.... So basicaly, i have effectivly "Milled" 0.138 off the head, but only changed the combustion chamber depth by 0.01o... this will alow me to run an extreme CR without detonating on 91 octain.
Oh, I am looking for about 170-200 whp.

It will take two months to break in the motor... Dont hold your breath.
But we all know I will be running 4.5 second quarter miles... Oh wait, that was a Y8 Engine... Dammit!

I did all the work excluding the valve job and the boring/honing and cylinder rings. I am looking mid twelve second to low thirteen second quarter mile times.
I used all kinds of shit in an attempt to clean things... The head was bead blasted so I didnt touch than, but I used gasoline, WD40, and an abundance of other chemicals on the block... But it realy came down to simple green and elbow grease to get the block clean... I used some Mothers Aluminum shine to get it shiny like it is. Let me tell you, it took quite alot of loving to get the whole block buffed by hand.
I sugest airplain stripper... If I had thought about it earlier I would have used it. It will clean thing up quick and hasle free, but if you want that shine... Wax on, wax off.

Who did you get to do the valvespring job? How far are you able to take the engine up to now? or did you do the line bore to accept ls(b18a/b) springs?

Custom crower Valves, custom crower springs, >stainless steel valve guides< (No Idea were those came from, the shop got them for me when I was puting the head back together, I think they are actualy for a toyota) and B18 valve seals, stock retainers were used.

All I can say is that I got a lot of respect for you, good luck. Also, I think a steam cleaner would work awesome for cleaning up and engine.

They sell airplane stripper at paint shops and also I've seen it at Autozone, Napa, and Advance auto parts stores.

Yea man... Im surprized you didnt notice earlier.
Anyhow, the camshafts were reground by WEB CAM, they are in southern cali. $350 for the set.
The JUN cam gears were ordered straight from japan along with the Power enterprise timing belt. $140 for the belt and $325 or so for the gears.
