The auction description says it is from Tamiya from when they released the Enzo kit, so I don't think there is anything home made about it.
Perhaps this is a sign Tamiya will release a full-view Enzo?

Probably coz its not on general sale and uses the existing box with ...60 item#.
Its obvious this is not something home made, if it was Mr Tamiya should be very worried!

It says "Promotional limited copy" in one of those pictures in kenji.

Lets hope this is only a limited edition for the moment. I'd love to get my hands on one of these at a semi-normal price.

It is an official Tamiya release. Only 100 kits were made for the Enzo kit presentation in Japan. They were given for free to those who attended presentation. I don't think Tamiya will release it as a Full View kit though.

That would make then fetch a good price on ebay, if they were ever sold..
TBH, even though they can look great when built correctly, I wouldn't actually buy one. I build models to have a scale car, of the real item.. Don't see many clear view cars on the road..
Mind you, wasn't there a clear view Honda S2000... Perhaps this will be tamiya's next big release..!!

Stupid guy, selling it in, letīs say, 20-30 years could make him work parttime if he wants to ;)
I mean, how rare is a kit that day, if it was made in 100 copies 30 years earlier?

Well, won't dis-agree with that... Looks to be full view model to me. Ģ18.71 in UK pounds.. That's cheaper then what most UK model shops sell the standard kit for.. I saw one for Ģ29.99... What a rip..!!

This was an one off release couple years ago in a hobby meet. They did the same for the Yellow Enzo last year. And they are doing special release for the Clear View Porsche Carrera GT this week. The meet is in Tobu department store Ikebukuro near Tokyo. They are definitely not giving them away for free to the attendees.
Look towards the bottom of the page, is 3,300 yen (~$32)

Man, the Enzo looks a hard enough build without having to worry about seeing many pieces under the chassis. I'm not the cleanest builder and feel I'd have to be extremely clean at my building to attempt this one.
By the way, the ebay link isn't working now? Is this down to the item being sold or something more sinister?

I'm not really into full view kits - especially at a price premium - but this one is kiiiiiind of tempting :naughty:

Is that Tamiya.com page also saying that they're going to re-release the 1/12th McLaren M23? And there's 1/20th mentioned too.
Damn I wish I could read that...
