Hello i am looking for information on a dakotas. my price range is really low and i wanted to know how they hold up if they are older and are running a little higher millege? i found a few adds if you would please tell me what you think...
First add
1999 Dakota
3.9L V6, auto, tilt, cruise, CD
new tires
$7900
Second add
1994 Dakota
5 spd, V6 86k milies
alarm, a/c, stereo system, new brakes & tires, duel exhaust
$5000
Third add
1993 Dakota
3.8 Magnum, 5 spd, bedliner, 96k miles
$3500
so as i have said do you think those are good deals?
im goign to sell my civic for it:biggrin: finaly. but thats kind of the reason i need a lower priced truck thanks guys.

That first add sounds like a good deal, but I'd run a Carfax report on it to make sure it hasn't been wrecked and such. I paid $9,018 for my used '01 4-banger Sport, and it had 49,000 miles on it at the time. It runs great though and I haven't had a problem. I'd definately have a look at the first one.

the only problem i see with the first one is that it is a auto, thats why im a little hesatent on that one. i would prefer a manual car jsut because. but do you have any idea on how much would it be to change it to a manual if i got the first one?

probably a [website edit] load. If you want a manual, I'd hold off and see what else comes along. Make sure you get what you want if you're gonna spend so much money on it. My purchase has left me wishing I'd bought a 3.9 instead of 2.5. I wouldn't try the conversion though. I'd think it'd be more trouble than it'd be worth.
