the book How to draw cars like A pro by THom Taylor( I think) has a pretty good section on perspective, and other good tips too.

Hello Spaceratk.
I saw your thread but did not have a chance to respond yet.
Please check out this link
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t119020.html
Also Simdel1 has a response in the link above that points to two other threads, with some helpful info. Please read all the posts including the ones in the links from Simdel1, ok.
Also get some of your artwork posted so I and others can help you out.
Be sure to check out http://www.sibleyfineart.com/
Go to studio tips and then index of tutorials.
This guy is awesome blows me out of the water. He draws animals but his tutorials are excellent expecially the ones about drawing ellipses. He also covers tools.
I am working on a tutorial right now from my Nismo skyline drawing for everyone in the forum it should be helpful to you. Should be done in about 2 weeks max.
Take care

well this is the best i can draw right now out of my head (no reference) i am reasonably better when i use the grid technnique you guys talk about.
I know the shading leaves much to desire but i was much better with shading when i was younger.

Nah, it looks fine like that. It's the back of the tire that's angled out cuz the front is turned inside. The tread on the tire shows that.

thanks for clearing that up AirAllen01, i was away for a couple of days (defraging computer). Also you should search for my 63 impala lowrider it's a lot better than this and i got a 82 s-10 coming (its finished only have to scan it)
for those that thought the wheels were a bit of its not but i can see why you would think that (i did not draw the shape of it too well, so thanks for the crit next time other than the threads i'll try and get it to look better)
once again thanks for the crits.
