street racing story

about 3 months ago, at the beginning of summer, my freind bought a new Mustang GT convertable.... so we went out cruisin on saturday night, it was like the first nice night of the summer so EVERYONE was out and it was awesome. we were just riding around through town, when we stopped at a light and a blue pontiac paresienne pulls up beside us. I look over at the paresienne, and theres two guys in it, and the little guy in he passenger side starts waving this stuffed bird around and laughing.So, the light turns green and we go, and were stopped at another light later when this paresienne pulls up again, and the two guys start yellin at us,"Nice car faggot!" so my buddy yells back,"yeah, im not cool enough to drive a paresienne!" and the guy in the pontiac starts revin it up (sounded horrible) and says "You cant handle this car..." Then the light turned green and we race to the next light, My freind smoked him. But were at the next light and they catch up and my freind yells,"where you goin? McDonalds?!" the overweight man driving the paresienne yells back,"Im..I...Im goin to your moms house!!" and he starts revin it up again. the light turns green, he squels his tires a little bit and *cha-chunk* stalls out right in the middle of the intersection, right in front of a cop!!! the cops lights came on and we took off, so I dont know what happened after that. The moral of the story, Dont act like a hard-ass if you drive a pontiac paresienne :icon16:

I've heard of a Pontiac Parisienne, but i'm not sure how powerful they were.

oops ... just so my post doesnt get misinterperted ... i meant that the mustang gt is a fast car .... and the pontiac guy should know better than to rev on it unless hes packing something good.

I dont even rev on civic ex's ... my cars that slow.

Here's a pict of a 1967 Parisienne. It came with a Asto-Flame 327cu.in./275 h.p. engine, but from the looks of it, it looks heavy as all hell.

My dad used to have a Parisienne back in the day. It was a '79. Big ass boat of a car! lol....but he did some work to it. It was decently fast, but it sounded awesome. Like honestly, when it was idling and revving it sounded like a friggin' funny car....like the dragster kind.

I didnt see the cop, all i saw was the lights. We were busy jawin at each other so I dont know. and I'd guess it was an early to mid 80's car, it was pretty beat......

are you sure it wasnt a buick parisenne? my grandpa used to drive one. it was huge.

wouldnt the buick and pontiac be the same shit? Like they have the GMC and Chevy suburban.
