Hi guys,
I'm writing from Hungary home of Rally Classics.
I didn't see the whole model (Audi TT) yet only the photo-etched parts and the decals, but I can say that it is competitive with famous modelmakers like studio27 or renaissance. Moreover i think it is much more better than Renaissace. I have the 550 Millenio from them and the R390 GT1 from Renaissacne and the Ferrari is much better.
Yes you are right they are quite expesive. But the situation is that it is not sold in Hungary. While here 45 Euro Tamiya model is more than expesive. Than what about 155 Euro, it is horrible.
I'm sure that the TT (new generation) will be pretty nice.
I will try to get some for cheaper price and maybe will be able to sell you a few.
Regards,
Gergo

Hum. I don't know. My parents want to think about real cars. They don't really want me to be spending all my time building models a stuff.

Hello,
Yesterday I could inspect the prototype of the Audi TT DTM.
It looks very impressive. The quality is a little higher than Renaissance.
The body is good and the interior is very detailed. (engine and suspention is not detailed) There are two sheets of high quality p/e parts. The windows are vacu-formed (not so good). The tyres should be changed to Tamiyas. It is available with two desings (RedBull, Hasseroder) The dacals are quite good. Also large sheet of carbon decal (with template) is included.
There will be much work with it but I think it is a very good model.
The price will be not so high as in Automobilminiaturen.de.

Isn't Revell of Germany supposed to make this kit sometime? If I'm remembering this correct, I saw it in a Revell Magazine....

Are these close to the ones in resin? Maybe a little less expensive too??

RC means RallyClassics. It is the name of the company who produce it. It is 1/24 resin curbside scale model.
