Unrequited Love

This is a little out-dated since I've gotten over my case, but how many others have suffered this crappy deal?

I personally hate it when you love someone that way, when they just want to be friends... especially after you've been more than friends with the person.

I got REALLY upset by this the other night (thanx to: a bunch of you--yes I've forgotten all your names :o ). Just wondering....

I can’t say as this has ever really happened to me. I dated one of my best friends, but it didn’t work out (wrong timing on both our parts). We’re still really good friends though and sure the attraction is still there on both parts, but not as strong as it was. All of the others (not that there’s been that many!!) I didn’t know until we started dating.

I can see how it would suck though, being attracted to someone that you hang out with all the time and who you've dated but who now doesn't want anything more than friendship. :(

Iv experianced both sides of the equation.
I got over my attraction to someone who wasnt interested, and it never affected our friendship.
However my admirer has done some very deciteful things to get what she wanted, and well, fortunatly is not talking to me at the moment. (which wont last)

But its all part of growing up.

I had that many moons ago. It sucks, but you grow and move on. Glad I did too, my fiance is so much better!

I don't associate with ex's. Once I leave that person, I leave. I tend to categorize people that I associate with. So if I see you as let's say a lover, that's it. If we break up or whatever, I can't be friends with that person later on. Just think this saves the trouble of wondering etc. Plus the fact that I would probably treat the person very mean if they stayed around.:D

Been on both sides too. That's life I guess. :rolleyes:

This friends thing you were talking about, it has happend to me 2! count them 2 times in the past 2 weeks
and they were both about ppl i care about alot, and they just blew me off, "Oh im not over so and so, blah blha blah, yet you can call me hot, cute. etc etc etc, WTF is this fucking shit!??!?!??! If you didnt give a fuck about me, why didnt you fucking say so, so i can move the fuck on with my life....ok im done, im just depressed.

I remember, a loooong time ago, I used to work for Motorola, and I was so into my supervisor. Every time she'd come around, my heart would literally HURT because I wanted to be with her! Unfortunately, she only saw me as a good friend that she could go out to clubs and shop with. But I didn't know that at the time. All I knew was that I liked her more than I had a right to.

One day, thanks to a little 'logistical manipulation' on my part, we found ourselves in the supply room alone together, and without really meaning to, I kissed her. This was one woman that I was thoroughly convinced I'd do ANYTHING for. But she let the air out of my balloon when she told me that, while she WAS attracted to me, it was only as a friend.

Because I'm a pretty shy person around women, this was especially heart-wrenching because it took a whole LOT of nerve on my part to get myself up to the point where I could even KISS her.

Oh well.... "Better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all"!! Hmmmm.... That's a bunch of Bulls#!@ I'd rather NOT have loved than to go through that SugarHoneyIceTea EVER again!!!!

I think we all do sooner or later....:(

But 2 times in 2 weeks, actually it happend a THIRD time this weekend, dude, i feel like jumping out a window sometimes....anyways, i hope this big losing streak turns into a winning streak..ever notice that the bad guys always win when it comes to girls????

Thank god for that! I have noticed the whole bad guy deal, and, it SUCKS! Makes ya wonder why theyre with such a loser.

hehe reading what saturn wrote got me thinkin , it happens all the time to me , 20 years old and not one girlfreind, to count i have 16 sisters and 7 best freinds thats right 26 girls i have asked out or something to that effect over the past few years and got the "your like a brother to me" or the "best freind" bit , only to be the shoulder to cry on when the love of there life doesnt turn out to be it . or im the provider of the ride to school or work or town i get used quite alot . since i dont grope, make sexual advance everytime i see a girl , not abusive ,obsessive,broke,car less,jobless ,etc i am not what a girl wants .im just a nice, dumb, ugly guy. i decided a year and a half ago to stop trying or even thinking i was ever going to find someone it had me in such a deep depression that it wasnt good for me instead i laugh at it all and tinker with my car , cocentrate in my work , collage and haveing fun. i figure ill die a lonley old man but ill have a crapload of toys,broke a few records and did everything else i ever wanted to do in life .thankx for the vent saturn !!!

ps this isnt a pity party i know people out there with worse deals!!!
