1997 Gtp

wud up people?
I have a question for ayou guys... i just bought a 97 GTp and if i am wondering wtf the noise is comin out of the pulley? it seems like its comin form the bottom 2 pulleys. I am just wonderin if anyone here has a GTP and has experienced this problem. hit me back peace

I had that problem on my '97 GTP. Check the idler and tensioner pulleys for the supercharger belt. The bearing may be going out in one of them, that's what happened to mine. I ended up having to replace both pulleys because the idler pulley locked up and broke. (And don't go to advance or auto zone for the pulleys. They are so stupid. Me: "I need to know if you have an idler pulley and a tensioner pulley for the supercharger belt on a '97 Grand Prix GTP." Guy on phone: "I'm showing the pulleys, but they aren't listed as specifically for the GTP." Me: "Why would an SE or a GT need a pulley for a supercharger belt when neither of them have superchargers?" Guy on phone: "Uh....." They're idiots, I tell you. Then, when I get down there, he tried to give me the wrong friggin pulley. Argh.)
