Question, Is it possible that the rotor sucks and the ignition timing isnt off at all? Because my dad says that its because my rotor was all loose and wobbly, my car backfired many a times. Anyone know if this new rotor will help my car any?

A new rotor certanly won't hurt the car, and they are fairly cheap. As for the old one being wobbly, tighten the screw before the rotor falls off, as many people here have seen. If you replace the rotor, I would also replace the cap. It is also fairly cheap, and if you don't know the age of the old one, it's just a good idea to replace it because you have to take it off to get at the rotor anyhow, and why change part of the cap and rotor system when you can change the whole thing for not alot of money.

Use Loctite on the screw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise, the screw will loosen and many people here have had their rotors fall off inside the cap before. It's happened to me twice.
