help* ls or b16?

well i have been into the import thing for 3 or so years and used my same dx motor in my crx and *tried* to beef it up.. it has caused me to much time to try to keep ...
so now i want to run with the big boys and get out of the high 15's
i wanna go ls non vtec or b16 ... and money is a bit of an issue i found a shop tho put a whole b16 swap in my car for 2,200-2,600 and an ls for around 1,800-2,000 depending on how cheap they get the motors
if i go ls.. i will go ls/vtec later when money is there...
is it worth th ls.. and the hassle for ls vtec later...
or suck it up and pay for a b16.. and info will help?
or if some one is selling one of the two motors tell me

Go b16. IF u want ls v-tec make sure someone knows how to do it right. Where you from?

well i know alot about cars.. my honda mostly i can do all the parts any swap need sjust not wiring..and im from texas why ask>

well i was gonna sell u my b16. If you're still interested that is. Well i just have to wait by saturday to see if this guy really wants it. If he doesn't then i'll holla at u later.

for the money just get the b16 cause u will have that vtec but if u dont want to spend 2 much $ then get the LS and may b vtec it later but it will cost alot.

Well 2 of them backed off. I have one potential buyer. Hopefully he'll buy it this saturday.
