Just got the Revell Enzo for just below $20 including shipping, and for the price, I think it's well worth it. Those, who think it'll be a pain to align all the body panels of the Tamiya Enzo kit, Revell is a good substitute.

Body is cleanly molded, and all the intake and outlet are open. A mesh sheet is included, and cutting template is on the instruction.

There are enough parts to make the model fairly detailed, without any upgrade parts.

Clear parts are thin and even, and as good as Tamiya. Tail lights are clear red. (Only problem is the center part, which has to be clear.)

Tires are correct Bridgestone Potenza Scuderia, and the size is accurate. (In fact, it's so accurate that it looks a little too small and thin in 1/24.)

Dashboard is fairly detailed with good 3D engraving. Gauges are high quality decal probably by Caltograf.

Two piece seat is thick, and it has seat belt molded on it.

Engine is well detailed, and engraving is sharp and deep.

Wheels look good, but it's not satin plated unlike Tamiya. (Well, I'll use Alclad II, so it doesn't matter.)

That's about it. I don't think I have time to post a progress, but if I do, I'll post it in the in-progress forum.
I hope this is a good info for those who are wondering which Enzo kit to buy.

What are brake discs like? And is the wheel mounting the same as in typical Revell Germany kits?

Thanks for the review, Hiroaki!

Doesn't look too bad...for Revell.

I still prefer the finesse of the Tamiya kit. However, for those who cannot financially support the Tamiya offering, this seems to be a feasible alternative.

Thanks for the pic review.

Thanks for inside-the-box-info, hiro!

I think if I would make an Enzo, I would definately go with the Revell kit, I think the difference in detail is hardly noticeable on the finished model, the only real thing that differs from the Tamiya kit would be the not-opening doors, but is this worth the extra buck for you???

Also, I would prefer to make three revell kits, instead of just one high-priced tamiya kit...

The Kit looks good but the brakes are horrible !!!! For everyone who will build a very detailed version should buy the revell and the tamiya enzo!!

I picked up this kit and the Tamiya kit, they both look great. I got it for $18 shipped off of Ebay.

I have the Studio27 photoetch parts on order. I'm curious to see how well they will work with the Revell kit. Hopefully that will cure the crappy brakes provided. Or maybe Flyonthewalls set may cure this. Not sure if it fits though.

My plan is to super detail the Tamiya kit. With the detail kit Scale Motorsports has said will be available in October or so.
And build a couple of Revells in various colors. Italian red bores me.

I'm curious to see this car in a bright orange or green.

That looks so far to be ok except the doors don't open. Hey do the wheels turn?

So it does or does not have an opening 'hood' (front compartment) ?

I'll be interested to get your feedback once you start to put the kit together and see how it goes then.
Looks good so far.

For a Revell it looks like their best kit yet.
