other than the upgrades on intake and exhaust, what are some other ways to boost hp on my 96 cavalier w/ a 2.4? i also already have an underdrive pulley and jet fuel mod

It all depends on how creative you are and how deep your pockets are.

Performance chip, underdrive pully, NOS, turbo, sc, ect.......

i know that a turbo would make a large difference but i don't know if i want to spend that kind of cash yet. i didn't know they made a performance chip for my car, i was told that the only thing they made was a module that change the fuel/air readings form the tps to the map

Also, there's a cheapo mod. Put a resistor inline on one of the wires from your air temp sensor. That will trick the car into thinking the air is colder (and more dense), and the computer will dump more fuel into the cylinders.

Somebody more experienced with GM's can give you more help on that one.

don't do that last one, why would you want your car to run richer, when it already runs rich .

1) take the jet chip off, it doesn't work, your car is obd2 and the modules do not work on obd2 cars.

2) check this post. (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t117070.html)

get a turbo and re do the entire exhaust system from head to toe (cat, headers, downpipe, rear, muffler)

plus get your headers wrapped that always helps

Dude, please check the last posts timestamp before you reply to a thread. We don't need people draging up month old threads that no one is concerned about anymore.
