I got 2 15 in. neon tubes of this guy I know. he gave me a switch with them but I don't how to wire this sh*t up, The switch only has two tabs, how do I run a power source to it along with my neons and then ground it? Do I run one wire from the switch to the battery and connect the power wires from the neons into that and use the other tab on the switch to ground it? I don't have a clue and I can't ask the guy cuz' he went on vaction. Any help is appreciated! thanks.

Well there is two ways to do it.. You have a non lighted switch hence only two prongs.. The ones with three are the switches that light up.. Anyways you can hook a wire from power source(preferably a fused one) to the switch and then to the neon or you can hook the neon directly to power(use a fused source or inline fuse close to power supply) and hook the switch on the ground side or the circuit.. ONCE AGAIN I CAN NOT STRESS IT ENOUGH MAKE SURE IT IS FUSED AS CLOSE AS POSSABLE TO THE POWER SOURCE... Ive seen many a cars go up in flames due to shitty wiring.. In my truck i had a inline fuse on 8 gauge wire going to aux fuse panels that then powered all my neon.. Trust me its more work but worth it.. later Rick S

yes u can still hook em up
connect the positives of all the neons to one prong on the switch, then ground them all to a spot on the body, then with the other prong, run a wire from that to ur fuse box... its not hard

o.k. I hooked all my power wires to one tab on the switch and grounded the neons. I hooked up a wire to the other tab and ran it to one end of a fuse and hooked a wire from the other end of the fuse to an empty slot in the fuse box. I went to turn the switch on and nothing happened. I stuck the spade connector in the other slot in the fuse box and still nothing. What did I do wrong????

its one or all of these things...
one, not grounded properly
2, use a fuse and not the spade connector
3, the lights might take a little while to turn on, i've noticed mine do once and awhile now
4, that fuse slot doesnt work maybe? i dunno
just a few ideas i thought about

y do u need to use a fuse?? neon lights don't use that much power. I'm thinkin' about using a cigarette light adapter and a switch. The cigarette adapter has 2 wires comming out of the end. I need to take both of those wires and tape it to the 2 prongs of the switch right? then take the two wires from the neon and tape it to the 2 prongs? is that how u do it?

I was gonna say the way I have mine. I ran a wire from the remote amp wire to the power source with my neons, connected a power wire to my access. power wire on my head unit harness and connected the ground to the ground wire on the harness. Worked just fine. I also got my amped wired to switch on/off.
