What is your favorate racing song/style?
Like, if you're at a track, what song would you like blasting through them speakers while you floor it?
Just currious.

Another good disturbed song for driving is Intoxication.
Now thats a kick ass song.
You know what else would make me drive fast, is hearing Nsync from the car behind me. I'd be hauling ass to get away from it!!!

Well, I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Radar Love by Golden Earring. That's pretty good.
My music is for cruisin' to, not racing, though. When you've got to match revs between shifts, have no ABS (no power brakes, as a matter of fact), and you're dancing through corners on tires about as wide as a size ten sneaker, you kind of want to pay attention.

I was at LACR last night and Alice in Chains - Man in the Box came on.
I mannaged to get 3 runs in to that song cause I got there at 5:15.
Also since my car isn't exactly fast, I got to hear more music per run! hehe
Good song though; I always like driving to it.

Nothing gets me in the mood to stomp some pedal and waste some gas like Static X-Push it, Rob Zombie-Superbeast, Slayer-Seasons in the Abyss, Spine Shank-Synthetic, Black Label Society/Ozzie-Stillborn, etc.... basically some good metal! As for techno/metal, ever heard of Ultra Spank? Try 'Click' from them, it's good!

That singer, Tomas Lindberg, is sorta recognized as the best vocalist in death metal nowadays. At The Gates's album "Slaughter of the Soul" is more or less considered the best melodic death metal album ever! Check out the track "Blinded by Fear" of that album if you need some serious "DON'T FUCK WITH THIS" racing music. But if you don't like his vocals death metal is probably gonna be one hell of a tough genre for you to listen to cuz everyone else sorta tries to imitate his vocal sound nowadays. In fact he's been doing a lot of guest vocals on other band's albums since ATG broke up in '96. His other bands are The Crown, Nightrage, and Ceremonial Oath. That was probably more info than you were looking for but hey, after reading all the nu metal crap people here are listening to in their cars death metal needed a plug. If I can introduce one nu metal fan to a more complex, better type of hardcore music than I've made this forum a better place. ;)
