I've used turtle wax (paste) on my Shadow (93) and Accord (02) and it works great on them. I use the high end stuff like Zanio (liquid) on the two VR4s and that stuff is awsome! However, it does cost a lot more then the off the shelf stuff.

Normally speaking, longevity is at a premium with liquids....Paste waxes offer substantial durability when compared to liquids. Polymers is a whole different story....

Liquid:
Can be applied by hand or R/O buffer
Easy to work with

Paste:
Must be applied by hand
harder to work with

Both types have their places, its more of a personal pref. than anything. Since even the best waxes only last 2-3months max under normal condition.

I prefer using long term paint selant with a multi-step process for best results. Thats if the customer will fork over the extra $$$ instead of the lame wash/wax.

i've used paste and i'll never used it again took me 3 freaking hours to take it off using an orbital buffer.....maybe it protects better but its way too much work:frown:

Apply thin coats
buff lightly while wet
then remove
