WRX version 5

Hello, I'm new to this forum, Call me Henry:)
I love modeling and cars! Hoping to have a good time here!

Ok, my question:
Can anyone tell me where I can order a Subaru Impreza WRX STI Version 5 kit online? I've looked all over and all i could find were pre-made metal models and WRC version Impreza. Please help!!

Fujimi is going to release one in December.. check out www.hlj.com for it... they're gonna have version 5 and 6 as well... version 4 is just released.:)

So Hobbylink is a reliable source for model kits? How about wheels and muffler? Where do you guys get them from?

Did fujimi ever came out with a Initial D EG6?

nop.. Fujimi never made an EG6 kit, so no initial d EG6... although they did and go started a EVO3 and FD line just for the initial d series.. :rolleyes:

I guess it's back to custom decals for my Hasegawa EG
Fujimi started a new lines just for initial D :bloated: I have the EVOIII too
and I forgot to paint it:p it looks shiny and plain in a weird sort of way

Anyone know where I can get a Spoon lip for the DC2 Integra Type R?

you can get a spoon interga type-r by fujimi, I just got it :D

but the spoon lip don't fit all that nice.. needed some work to make it fit nicely.. but the spoon decals and spoon wheels are really cool :) well worth the kit, I don't believe you can order the spoon lip alone..

but if you have time, I'd just make one out of putty.. it'd sure look a lot nicer.. I actually ended chopping my spoon lip in pieces and added some putty to make it look more like the real spoon lip :D

I have a post somewhere below or in next page about the spoon integra.. called "more integra in the collection" or something like that.

thought it's a kit from another company other than Fujimi

but come to think of it, some kits that HLJ says its new or not release yet, I found them in my local hobby shop

ar...ok, the WRX in that webpage....if you click the "Home" button, its actually says the maker is Studio27.....now I'm all confused!

don't worry.. the fujimi one is comming out in a couple of weeks :D

I've email the webmaster of that webpage about his WRX model.
The reply was that it's a Studio27 resin kit.

Know where I can get one??

but those resin kits are VERY expensive.. they usually go for over $100US a pop :eek:

$100+!!!! I'll wait for Fujimi. Plans to replace the front bumper from a WRC version (Too bad no 22B plastic model) You've guessed it, Initial D version WRX from issue #22 driven by the one and only Fujirawa Bunta.:D

Initial D has a WRX as well? wow.. I only went up to Vol. 19.. so I'm totally lost on what's going on now..

Tamiya made the Rally 22B impreza, you can get that, alone with the Fujimi WRX coupe and merge them together to get a 22B street car ;)

as for replacing bumper, you can always make it with putty too :D

I'm not going to spoil it for you, but Bunta's WRX is version 5 (you should know by now:p ), blue (no idea which blue), has the STI 22B upgrade front bumper, type R I guess...I'm pretty sure its version 5 from the spoiler design

Yeah I was doing the same thing and I couldn't see the difference. :(

Knowing Fujimi, they proabaly will be exactly the same too!
But even if it is just the decals that are different, it is enough!

I press the "SEND" button last week and my order is still stuck in ordering status! The stuff I order was in-stock, and now I've waited for them to respond and most of the stuff is now LOW or backorder, I'm really disappointed in HLJ
