Gas engines?....ROTary?

A guy at my last job had a small fold out brochure of gas engines and one was a rotary I think more for aircraft use but of course could be used on a car ayone know what company or companies sell this?

There are a couple of types of rotary engines but the only one I can think of being used in a car is the Wankel rotary engine...but I have never heard of them being used in an airplane. If you want one, Mazda makes them, they are in RX-7's and the new RX-8's.

I think he means an RC vehicle rotary engine.

www.towerhobbies.com was selling one a few years back, I am not sure if they still do.
