Prob with car H/B...help

Ok so i was driving along a road with a lot of ups and downs to a friend place. It started making a wierd sound when i went down hill (the engine started making a wierd loud sound like some old disel engine) i stopt and turned back but as i was going uphill it whent away...so i turnd around again and whent on again. It was ok to my friend place but when i was heading home i whent down hill and the car lost all power/engine just stoped.......i dident whant to startup again....the only way i got it running again was that we had to push start it...and it fired up instantly........my dad said it in the fuelfilter.......but its clean. Any ideas on what could it be?:confused:

try buying some fuel additive to clean your injectors..if not check your main relay hope that helps :bigthumb: also check all your vaccum hoses to make sure nothings come unhooked...

did you check to see if your ecu is throwing any codes?

Thx i got it working again i cleaned everything and changed the filter and it looks like its running OK :bigthumb:
